There is something about a gorgeous pair of embroidery scissors isn't there :0) and yours are beauties. Mostly I get funky coloured ones - I'm drawn to them (but I still manage to misplace them - I never understand how they can disappear into thin air) now I keep them tied to my sewing case. Really pretty sewing too, I like the evenweave (or linen?) that it is stitched on.

Really pretty Kate. And how did you get your family so well trained? I can't see DH getting me a pair of 'pretty' scissors. It's all I can do to prevent him from cutting his nails with the ones I've got... grrr
