It Could Be Time

To tidy away a few threads!
The basket is full of threads that have been used in projects over the past few months ~ well it may be more than a few!  It's been so long since I updated my database that I can't rely upon it to tell me where anything is.
Apart from my general chores and hopefully seeing Bro4 while he is visiting Dad this weekend I think my time should be well spent getting the stash into some semblance of order.
Wish me luck!

Kate

Good luck! Can you come and do mine when you are finished, please? lol

Oh I am relieved to know that I'm not the only one that doesn't put threads away when they are finished with. I have them all over the place in the numerous projects that I have on the go, makes life very difficult when I need one. I'm also in the process of getting rid of my stitchbow storage method and going back to storing my threads on bobbins, which means rounding them all up and then an awful lot of winding, which thankfully my husband is helping me with. Good luck with your sorting!

I am winding mine on plastic bobbins. It's a mess too.

I do the same thing! As I finish with threads/projects I throw the bobbins, baggies, etc into a basket and when its full or I can't find something its time to sort it all out again!

The trouble is when you have a tidy up you can never find anything afterwards.

You too? I could barely open my floss drawer. A ring of floss cards jammed in the drawer and I scrapped my fingers trying to free up the jam. Guess what I did today? But, I never learn, it will happen again. LOL
